What’s Next?

First off, thank you for visiting America’s Fitness Chef! This is a program that I have had a strong desire to launch for the past 2 years. Last week I woke up and was in the shower getting going for Adventure Boot Camp, and I decided that it was time to launch the program.
I knew that the camp in session right now only had a bit over a week left and then I had 2 weeks between camps. Now I need the break, but still need something to do…not like I ever stop working as it is, or that I don’t have so much on my plate that I can’t keep up, but this is something for me. This program is based on one of my passions, cooking. So launching it allows me to share with others beyond just typing.
The America’s Fitness Chef Program consists of two parts:
- The Blog - Where you are now. Announcements, recipes, ideas, and guidance about fitness cooking and lifestyle as related to food.
- The Cooking Program - Schedules, locations, and all the details.
The Cooking Program- Full demonstrations of fitness and weight loss meals!
The day after I decided to launch this program I had a meeting with long time friend and mentor, Joe Gigantino, to discuss some programs and web site ideas and issues. Joe owns 3 major athletic clubs including Milpitas and Gilroy Health and Fitness. I have handled the Presonal Training of his wife for more than 15 years, so you can say that we have a good relationship. Our meeting was scheduled to take place at his newly acquired 4th fitness center, Los Gatos Athletic Club. Personal
Upon my arrival at the club, I was blown away with what I saw…The whole front of the club, right side, is a demonstration ready kitchen! WOW! This put a new option in front of me, I do not need to have my cooking program at my house, I can run it at the club! Joe was pretty simple about using the kitchen…’Go for it!’ So we have a great location for the America’s Fitness Chef’s cooking program!
We will shoot for a new demonstration every month as the program launches. You can expect to learn everything from basic cooking techniques to basic skills and great food. Plan on trying everything! You will leave with great recipes and your appetite and thirst for knowledge quenched…you will probably have fun too!
